Founded in 1991 by H.G.M. Haukes, Haukes Aannemings- en Transportbedrijf N.V. has grown from a single vision into one of Suriname’s leading companies in earthmoving, special transport, lifting, and civil & road infrastructure.
What began as a family-driven venture is now a 500+ strong team of experts combining innovation and reliability to deliver projects that move communities and the region forward.

Staff activities
On Saturday, April 5, Haukes N.V. organized a Sports Day for employees and their families in celebration of World Health Day (April 7). The event focused entirely on healthy eating and physical activity.
Visitors could have their blood pressure, blood sugar, and BMI checked free of charge and join an energetic Zumba workout. There was also a 5 km walk. A healthy and varied lunch with snacks and drinks was served, and fun activities such as dancing and apple bobbing were arranged for children and their parents.
It was a day full of movement, health, and togetherness for the whole family.
