Books by Jonathan and Haukes make 1000 children happy with coloring book
With the support of the Haukes Group of Companies, Books by Jonathan this week distributed 1,000 free coloring books to 24 primary schools in Paramaribo, Wanica, and Para. Jonathan Misiekaba, the project’s initiator, author, and founder, aims to encourage children in Year 2 (preschool B) to engage in positive activities during the holidays and learn the alphabet in a playful way, while simultaneously strengthening their bond with their parents.
Donation to O.S. Sunnypoint 2
In August 2024, Haukes N.V. was pleased to contribute to O.S. Sunnypoint 2 by donating a laptop and various school supplies. Many children at this school come from vulnerable neighborhoods and often have limited resources to attend their classes. With this donation, we want to provide them with additional support and motivation.
The donation consisted of:
1. Laptop – for school administration
2. 6 school kits – for the sports and dance competitions on August 2nd & 6th, 2024
3. 288 notebooks – double-lined & squared
4. 150 pens
5. 144 pencils
With this support, we hope to contribute to better learning conditions and foster the talents of the students.
Haukes N.V. & Haukes Trucking N.V. support Stichting RIYOS with classroom painting
In October 2022 and again in September 2024, Haukes N.V. and Haukes Trucking N.V. proudly contributed to Stichting RIYOS in Para by donating the full painting work, including labor, for newly built classrooms and a modern toilet block.
Thanks to this support, the classrooms now have a fresh and welcoming look, creating a positive and inspiring learning environment for the children. The project helps provide better facilities and access to quality education for even more students in the region.
Together with Stichting RIYOS, we are building a brighter future for the children of Para.
Haukes N.V. celebrates its 30th anniversary with a donation of school furniture
Paramaribo – To celebrate its 30th anniversary, Haukes N.V. donated a complete consignment of school furniture to various educational and healthcare institutions in Suriname. The furniture was shipped and cleared at its own expense and distributed in the first quarter of 2022 in collaboration with Haukes N.V.’s sister companies.
With this donation, the company is making a meaningful and tangible contribution to improving the learning and care environment for children and young people.

What we focus on with our sponsorship policy
At Haukes N.V., we support projects that make a real difference in society. Our sponsorships focus on three areas: Education (learning and youth development), Culture (art, culture, traditions), and Society (community well-being).
What We Don’t Sponsor
We cannot support initiatives that go against the law, morality, or public order, or those related to alcohol or drugs.

Our Terms and Conditions for Sponsorship Requests
To review your request, please clearly explain your goal, including what will happen, who will organize it, and who is responsible, ideally formulated as a SMART goal. Include a budget outlining the project or event costs, and ensure the contact person submitting the request is authorized to act on behalf of the organization. We also appreciate if the applicant contributes, either financially or in kind. With this information, we can quickly determine how to best support your initiative.

Your sponsorship application will be accepted exclusively electronically via email at csr@haukesnv.com or in writing at Haukes NV’s head office.
You will be contacted within two (2) weeks via the email address or phone number you provided.
Applications that are not formulated correctly and clearly, or that lack a budget, will not be considered
